The Person Behind the Camera

About Abigail

When I’m not behind a camera, you’ll usually find me planning my next adventure, paddle boarding on a Minnesota lake, playing pickleball with friends, serving at church, or working alongside an incredible team at a demonstration farm in Kenya that helps train young farmers and leaders.

I’m endlessly curious. I ask a lot of questions. I laugh loudly. I cry during meaningful speeches. I believe the best conversations happen around campfires, kitchen tables, and long walks.

I also believe some of the most important moments in life aren’t the big, dramatic ones.

They’re the quiet glances. The proud smiles. The messy in-between moments. The things you don’t realize you’ll miss someday.

That’s what I love capturing.

Whether you’re celebrating a wedding, launching a business, serving your community,

gathering your family, or simply documenting a season you never want to forget,

my goal is always the same:

To create images that feel like you.

The real you. The people you love. The things you’re building. The moments that matter.

Because years from now, I don’t want you to just remember what things looked like.

I want you to remember how they felt.

Built on Curiosity & Connection

People are endlessly fascinating to me.

The entrepreneur launching a new business.

The couple promising forever.

The nonprofit serving its community.

The family trying to hold onto a season that feels like it's passing too quickly.

That's why I do this work.

Photography gives me a front-row seat to some of the most meaningful moments in people's lives—and the opportunity to preserve them long after they're gone.

The more I understand what matters to you, the better I can tell that story.

A few things about me.

  • Minnesota is home, but I spent years living in Chicago and Washington D.C.

  • I never turn down an adventure.

  • I believe most problems are better after a walk outside.

  • I can spend hours talking about faith, purpose, and what people are passionate about.

  • I love long slow runs, hiking, picnics, pickleball, skiing, and being on the water.

  • I’ve helped lead a nonprofit in Kenya for several years and am passionate about seeing people and communities thrive.

  • My camera roll is filled with sunsets, baked goods, flowers, and photos of people I love.

  • If we work together, there’s a good chance I’ll leave feeling like I made a new friend.

Wherever life takes you, I'll help you remember it.

My approach is relaxed, thoughtful, and centered on what matters most to you. I'll help you feel comfortable, capture the moments as they naturally unfold, and create photographs that feel authentic, timeless, and true to your day.

Years from now, I want your images to bring you right back to how that day felt.
